Muslim philosophers and Hakims (sages) have highlighted some of these with reference to the Holy Quran.
Here are some of these arguments:
A) Argument of Hikmat (wisdom).
If we believe that there will be no other world after this one, then life will be empty and meaningless. Why should a person live in this world for 70 or 80 years or more or less and go through various hardships and calamities without hoping to get anything out of it?
The Holy Quran says, “Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us?” (Verse 115 of Surah Al-Muminoun)
It means that if there were no return to God, life would be pointless and meaningless. Life in this world can be meaningful and in accordance with divine wisdom only if we view this world as a farm and a passageway to the next world.
B) Argument of Justice.
God has given man freedom of choice and free will to test him and allow him to tread the path of perfection. But what if man abuses this freedom? What if oppressors, wrongdoers, and deviants abuse this freedom? It is true that some evildoers are punished in this world for what they have done, but not all are fully punished for all that they have done. Nor do all the righteous receive due rewards for their good deeds in this world. Would that be just and fair? God says in Verses 35-36 of Surah Al-Qalam, “What, shall We make those who are submissive like the wrongdoers? What is the matter with you then, how do you judge?”
One should realize that in order to fulfill divine justice, it is necessary to hold a divine court where every small or big deed is evaluated and rewarded or punished. Otherwise, justice will not be fulfilled. Thus, believing in divine justice requires believing in the Resurrection. The Holy Quran says in Verse 47 of Surah Al-Anbiya: “On the Day of Resurrection We shall set up just scales, so that no soul shall in the least be wronged, even though it be the weight of a grain of mustard seed We will bring it We Suffice as reckoners.”

C) Argument of Purpose.
Contrary to what materialists believe, in the divine ideology there is a purpose for the creation of man. In philosophical terms, this purpose is called perfection, and in the Quran and Hadith it is closeness to God or worship of God.
The Quran says in Verse 56, “We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me.”
Would this purpose be fulfilled if there were no afterlife? Undoubtedly, the answer is no. There should be another world after this one so that man's path of perfection can continue and he can reap the fruits of what he has sown in this world.
Therefore, the fulfillment of the purpose of creation would not be possible without believing in the Resurrection, and if we sever the connection between this world and the next, everything would become mysterious and we would have no answers to questions about life.
